That’s why we built out these Survey Invert Calc Sheets. Every sheet has built-in checks and balances for our pipe crew inverts:
- ✅ Pre-flight checklist — level pegged, tripod legs stepped in, compensator tapped, benchmark verified
- ✅ 3-wire leveling with automatic delta check (< 0.003′)
- ✅ Check-IN shot to a known elevation to confirm setup
- ✅ Clean foresight log for every sideshot
- ✅ Check-OUT shot to verify setup held through the day
