What is Takt planning and why is it taught?
In the Super PM Boot Camp, we use Takt as the foundation. Even if you’re a die-hard CPM fan back home—running P6, Asta, or Microsoft Project—you’ll learn how builders can advance their planning skills, create flow, and gain time by working with smaller batch sizes, smaller zones, and pull planning in a way that saves weeks or even months.
I’ve seen hardline CPM lovers walk away saying,
“Oh my gosh… I get it now.”
“Oh my gosh… I get it now.”
They learn how to:
– Set milestones the right way.
– Properly pull plan.
– Identify zones that actually make sense.
– Use the calculator we give you to find time gains in every phase—because you’re zoning it right.
– Create flow in the field and control it with the trades through the Last Planner System.
This training is built for you.
When you learn Takt as your base, it doesn’t matter if you go back to Takt, CPM, or any other method—you’ll have the lean foundation for construction planning and scheduling that works everywhere.
And that’s why we teach it.
It doesn’t matter where you came from. You’re going to love the teachings, the formats, and the simulations we run through together. Everyone leaves Boot Camp with the same feeling: inspired, energized, and with a whole new perspective.
It will expand your mindset and add to the genius you already have as a builder.
