FAQ

Questions you
might ask

Who should attend?
Superintendents, project managers, field engineers, foremen, builders, and people actively moving into field or project leadership. The program works for both newer leaders and experienced professionals who want a stronger operating system. Looking for something for your crew? See our field engineer and foremen programs.
No. The week starts with foundations and builds into advanced application. Familiarity with construction helps you connect the systems to real work, but prior Lean or Takt training is not required. Start with a free masterclass or try the Last Planner® System masterclass.
It is 100% in person. The simulations, team exercises, live coaching, and shared problem-solving depend on full participation in the room.
Monday through Thursday run from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Friday is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Do not book travel that requires leaving early.
Five days of instruction, all training materials, lunch, snacks, beverages, a certificate of completion, and post-camp support are included. Travel and lodging are handled by the participant.
Yes. Real schedule, logistics, leadership, procurement, coordination, and field-office problems make the learning more useful. Bring construction documents if they will help you explain the challenge.
Bring a notebook, a laptop or tablet, optional project documents, comfortable clothing, and the willingness to participate. Elevate provides the training and simulation materials.
Yes. Teams often see the greatest benefit because they return with shared language and shared systems. A 10% discount is available when four or more participants enroll together. Private company cohorts are also available. Explore team training or contact us for a private cohort.
Participants who complete the program receive an Elevate Certificate of Completion. This is practical, experience-based training rather than an academic degree or independent industry licensure.
Contact Elevate directly for company invoicing, current cancellation terms, participant substitutions, and private-cohort options before purchase.
The best construction management programs combine hands-on experience with proven management techniques. Look for training that addresses real challenges in the construction industry, including project planning, team leadership, and field-office coordination. Programs should be taught by instructors with actual construction experience, not just academic credentials. A certificate program like our Boot Camp provides immediately applicable skills without requiring years at a four-year college.
A traditional construction management degree from a four-year college provides broad theoretical knowledge and often leads to entry-level positions. Our Boot Camp is designed for working professionals who need practical skills they can apply on their next construction project. While a bachelor’s degree or associate degree in construction management covers building codes, construction documents, and civil engineering concepts, our program focuses on leadership, Lean systems, and management principles that drive results on the construction site. Many graduates of degree programs attend our Boot Camp to gain the hands-on experience their formal education didn’t provide.
This construction management program supports multiple career pathways in the construction field. Current superintendents and project managers sharpen their skills for their existing roles. Project engineers and foremen prepare for leadership positions. General contractors and construction consultants gain systems they can implement across multiple projects. The technical skills and communication skills developed in this program benefit anyone pursuing growth in construction management, from those in entry-level positions to experienced leaders seeking continuous improvement.
Yes. Elevate’s Boot Camp is recognized throughout the construction industry for producing measurable results. Unlike programs focused on exam preparation or academic credentials from government agencies or the American Council, our certificate program is valued because graduates return to their construction sites and immediately improve project outcomes. Companies in commercial construction, residential construction projects, and civil construction send their teams because they see the ROI in better project planning, reduced chaos, and stronger team performance.
Problem solving is woven throughout the entire 5-day program. You’ll learn the IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) method for tackling issues as they arise. You’ll practice structured approaches to fixing schedule problems, logistics challenges, and communication breakdowns. The Takt Planning system teaches you to anticipate problems before they happen. Most importantly, you’ll work through real scenarios with peers from across the construction industry, building a network of innovative problem-solvers you can rely on long after the Boot Camp ends.
